Nothing is more discouraging than unappreciated sarcasm.

I try not to be discouraging.

Bio
I am a 28y/o college student and mother of three children; a son and two daughters, and expecting my fourth baby; another boy in April. My husband and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary in August. I am majoring in psychology and hope one day to be a behavior analyst, and do work with people with developmental disabilities. Alternately, I would also like to work with survivors of trauma. Ultimately I would like to obtain a PhD in this field. Having been the survivor of incest and sexual assault, this is a topic that is very important to me, and I feel that all the struggles I've gone through to overcome drug addiction and an eating disorder, and to cope with what's happened to me, gives me a unique perspective on life, being a mother, and having been a mental health patient.

When I am not working on my degree or taking care of my children and/or our pets, I like to try and catch some time with my husband. I also like to spend time with my extended family. I am the youngest of 7 children, and do like to try and catch up with my siblings when I can. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I relate more closely to my brothers, as I see myself as more 'one of the guys' than I do as girlie, like my sisters. I normally listen to a lot of alternative rock/pop and indie rock. Reggae, hip hop and punk are also other genres I like. I don't watch a whole lot of television, but the two shows I watch every week without fail are Criminal Minds and CSI:NY.
